Sibfest is a growing UK-wide community for SIB owners, anglers, families and anyone interested in inflatable boating.
It brings people together through regional WhatsApp groups, the Inflatable Boat Advice Facebook community, local meets, organised trips, challenges and competitions.
The community is open to owners of all SIB brands. You do not need to own a Hydrus or be an experienced angler to take part.
Some Sibfesters use their boats for sea fishing, while others enjoy rivers, lakes, family days, wildlife watching or relaxed cruising. What connects everyone is an interest in SIBs and spending time safely on the water.
Sibfest helps members find local boating companions, arrange trips, share launch information, learn from experienced owners and gain confidence using their boats.
Safety and responsible boating are central to the community. Members are encouraged to understand weather, tides, anchoring, engines, life jackets, VHF radios and emergency planning.
The Sibfest leaderboard adds a fun competitive element, with points available for fishing, photography, safety, environmental and community challenges. Official merchandise helps support the prizes and growth of the organisation, but anyone can join the wider Sibfest community and attend local meets.
